Weight Loss Tips: Change Flour For Making 'Roti' To Help You Lose Weight - Know More

Grain For Weight Loss: To lose weight, you need to change flour. Eating roti made from multigrain, millet, barley and ragi flour will help you in reducing weight.

Weight Loss Roti: In order to lose weight, many people completely remove Rotis (Indian flour flatbread) from food. They think that wheat flour leads to weight gain. But if you want to reduce obesity, then you do not need to give up roti but change the flour. Yes, to lose weight, you should use other cereals instead of wheat. You can use millet, multi-grain, bran flour, or ragi flour for making roti. 

1- Bajra roti- You can include bajra roti in your diet to lose weight. It contains 97 calories and makes you feel fuller for a long time. Eating bajra roti helps in weight control. Bajra roti is rich in fiber and vitamins. Eating it improves cholesterol levels. Bad cholesterol is reduced and good cholesterol increases. 

2- Chana flour and multigrain roti- People who pay attention to diet and food nowadays prefer to eat roti of multigrain flour instead of wheat. Many types of grains are found in it. Chickpea flour is also added to multigrain flour. which helps in reducing weight. If you eat gram flour mixed with your daily wheat flour or multigrain flour, it also controls blood sugar and increases the nutritional value.

3- Bran flour bread- Wheat flour contains a lot of bran. This bran is made from the upper golden peel of wheat. That is why some people grind the flour finely and use it after sifting. On sifting, the husk i.e bran gets separated from the flour. But to lose weight, you should eat bran flour roti. Eating roti made of bran flour has many health benefits. Wheat bran is a good source of fiber which is helpful in preventing constipation This flour contains potassium, phosphorus, calcium, selenium, magnesium, vitamin E, and B complex. Apart from reducing weight, eating roti made from bran flour does help in treating heart diseases, cholesterol, and sugar. 

4- Barley-gram flour bread - To reduce weight and keep your body fit, you should eat rotis made of barley-gram flour instead of wheat. For this type of flour, make a ratio of 10 kg gram and 2 kg barley and grind it. Eating Rotis made from this flour helps in losing weight quickly and fewer calories will be stored in the body.
