New Delhi: Actor Uorfi Javed, whose unique sartorial choices never fail to garner attention, is back in the spotlight with her most recent ensemble. She was recently photographed by paparazzi wearing a green see-through dress. Before entering the event, she posed for the photographers with a smile and offered a proper glimpse of her attire for the night.
Although The Bigg Boss OTT celebrity has been criticised for her fashion choices frequently, it is undeniable that she continuously astounds everyone with her wardrobe. On the other hand, Uorfi's fans often praise her for being audacious and innovative. And her most recent choice was different from what we had previously witnessed.
Uorfi Javed was spotted in the city on Wednesday wearing a green bodycon overall. She put her hair in a sleek bun and added a golden neckpiece to complete her ensemble.
As usual, Uorfi's videos and photos on social media gained immense attention from netizens. Many questioned her choice of attire and mocked the actor.
A social media user compared her to a ‘Leafy green vegetable’. Another person called an ‘alien’. “Mosquito net pehen k nikal gayi," a comment read. And one of the Instagram users called her a ‘Spider-girl’.
Meanwhile, Uorfi, who is presently competing in 'Splitsvilla X4', has already made a good first impression on the show's host Sunny Leone with her outfits. She was wearing a short black dress with two swans concealing her bust in one of the episodes, and Sunny complemented her on it.
Chetan Bhagat, a well-known author, spoke on the negative impact of smartphone use on young Indians at a recent event and brought up the case of Uorfi Javed in his discussion.
“Phone has been a great distraction for the youth, especially the boys, spending hours just watching Instagram reels. Everyone knows who Urfi Javed is,” he said.
In response, Uorfi accused Chetan in a series of tweets in which she called him out for promoting rape culture and undermining women's freedom.
