Yelagiri, Tamil nadu:

It is a silent hill station, which lies in the Tirupattur District of Tamil Nadu at an altitude of 1,111 meters. It is a perfect destination for the traveller who is searching for some natures explorations with less bustle and with humanity. Activities include boating, trekking to the waterfalls, hiking, even paragliding. Nature parks are a perfect place for a relaxing day among local plants and animals.

Kudremukh, Karnataka:

Nestled in Karnataka, it is a mountain which has a peak resembling that of a horse's face that make this a unique destinations. It is a favourite and very loved by the trekkers as well as the nature lovers and is located in Chikmagalur District. Kudremukh National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers vast protected space carrying diverse plants and animals. The demanding trek to the hilltop has been well-rewarded with excellent views.

Kotagiri, means the mountain of Kotas, it is a less popular but beautiful hill station in Nilgiris District of Tamil Nadu. Kotagiri has covered green hills, tea plantations, and forests and hence has serene surroundings. Less crowded compared to other hill stations, Kotagiri is the best destination for nature walks, scenic views, and bird watching. The mild climate adds to this beauty providing a serene environment throughout the year.

Madikeri, Karnataka:

Madikeri in Karnataka is a refreshing hill station known for green forests, waterfalls, and valleys. The location has ethnical history and attractions such as Madikeri Fort, Omkareshwara Temple, and Raja's Seat viewpoint. The fort dates back to the 17th century and contains a palace, temple, and museum. 

Yercaud, Tamil Nadu:

It is a beautiful place in the Eastern Ghats of Tamil Nadu, which is greatly admired because of its pleasant climate and scenic loveliness without any massive crowds of tourists. Being famous for its lake, waterfalls, forest, and coffee plantations, Yercaud is a good destination for calmness. 

Ponmudi, Kerala:

It is located in the state of Kerala and provides visitors with the serene hill station feel, meanwhile availing them near Kovalam Beach, about 69 km from the place. It also features Golden Valley, lush green, rivers, and wild life in the surrounding areas. Trekking trails in the Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary and other places, such as the Echo Point, make Ponmudi a nice getaway for nature lovers seeking a peaceful abode.
