Tamil Nadu Polls | Man Pulls Car Walking Upside Down During Campaign For AIADMK's SP Velumani, Says 'Want To Promote Yoga'

A yoga instructor walked upside down while pulling a car in RS Puram to campaign for AIADMK candidate and state minister SP Velumani.

The political parties in fray for the upcoming assembly elections in four states and one union territory, are leaving no stones upturned to woo the voters. The political heat in the southern states is on rise as the first phase of polling for state assembly election is set to be held on April 6.

Ahead of the polling, a yoga instructor walked upside down while pulling a car in RS Puram to campaign for AIADMK candidate and state minister SP Velumani.

In the visuals shared by news agency ANI, the man can be seen pulling off stunts with utmost ease and flexibility. The man attached one end of the chain with his waist and the other one to the car. He pulled the vehicle with his body body what excited the spectators was that the man walked upside down.

"I want to create awareness about yoga and its health benefits while campaigning," the yoga instructor said, as quoted by ANI.

The term for the 234-member Tamil Nadu legislative assembly will come to an end on May 24, 2021. Before the term ends, the state will go for polling in a single phase on April 6. Counting of votes and result announcement will be done on May 2.

The incumbent Edappadi K. Palaniswami is AIADMK’s Chief Ministerial candidate. Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) founder and Tamil actor Kamal Haasan will be seen making an active entry in the 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections.
