ABP CVoter Opinion Poll 2021: Bad News For AIADMK-BJP Alliance In Tamil Nadu, Voters Prefer MK Stalin For CM
Tamil Nadu ABP CVoter Opinion Poll Results 2021: As per the data collected, it has been revealed that the NDA alliance (AIADMK, BJP And Others) is projected to secure 53-61 seats with about 30.6 per cent vote share while 161-169 seats have been predicted for UPA alliance which comprises (DMK, Congress and Others) with little over 43 per cent vote share.
There seems to be bad news for the AIADMK-BJP alliance in the south as the MK Stalin led Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) is expected to come to the power this time in the upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly elections which are scheduled for later this month.
Ahead of the polling, ABP News along with C-Voter conducted an opinion poll to predict the voter's mood. The voters' mood appeared to be inclining towards the DMK chief as over 40 per cent people prefer MK Stalin as the next chief Minister while 29.7 preferred Palaniswami to return to power.

The collected data further revealed that the population in the southern state finds performance of current AIADMK government and CM Palaniswami as average. About 48 per cent seemed to be angry with the current administration led by K. Palaniswami and is in favour of changing the government.

Meanwhile, MNM is expected to win 2-6 seats, AMMK 1-5 and Others 3-7 with 7.0 per cent, 6.4 per cent and 12.3 per cent vote share respectively.
When asked about the most important issue at present, 32.8 per cent of the people raised unemployment concerns while 11.6 per cent complained of electricity & water and 10.4 per cent said law & order issues.
The incumbent Edappadi K. Palaniswami is AIADMK’s Chief Ministerial candidate. Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) founder and Tamil actor Kamal Haasan will be seen making an active entry in the 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections.

The term for the 234-member Tamil Nadu legislative assembly will come to an end on May 24, 2021. Before the term ends, the state will go for polling in a single phase on April 6. Counting of votes and result announcement will be done on May 2.
