The Pradosh fast is observed to please Lord Shiva. It is believed that worshipping Lord Shiva on this day fulfills all kinds of wishes.

Worshipping On Pradosh Fast:

7th July 2021 is the first Pradosh fast of the Ashadh month. Worshipping Lord Shiva in the month of Ashadh is considered to be particularly fruitful. Worshiping Lord Shiva in Pradosh fast removes the problems related to married life.

After the Ashadh month, the month of Shravan begins (also referred to as the month of Sawan). The month of Sawan is considered to be the best for worshiping Lord Shiva

In Pradosh fast, one should worship only after taking a bath in the morning. After deciding to fast, you should shower Lord Shiva with offerings that he loves. On this day, Lord Shiva can be pleased by conducting the 'Abhishek' ritual.
