On the eve of the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony at Ayodhya, the city of Queretaro in Mexico witnessed the inauguration of the country's first Lord Ram temple. Queretaro already hosts the first Lord Hanuman temple in Mexico, according to the Indian Embassy. The 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony in Queretaro was conducted by an American priest, accompanied by Mexican hosts, and featured idols brought from India.
The Embassy of India in México shared details of the event, noting, "The atmosphere was filled with divine energy as the hymns and songs sung by the Indian diaspora reverberated throughout the hall."

Meanwhile, the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is gearing up for its Pran Prathistha ceremony today, set to be a historic event attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, saints, and various distinguished guests.
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust announced that the Pran Pratishtha ceremony would include a spectacular musical event titled 'Mangal Dhwani,' featuring some of the biggest names in the world of music. The event is scheduled to commence at 10 am, with the 'Pran Pratishtha' of Shri Ram Lalla at Ayodhya Temple set for 12:30 pm, news agency ANI reported.

Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh and cities across the country are adorned with posters, flags of Lord Ram, lights, huge cutouts, and religious slogans in anticipation of the grand ceremony. The Union Government has declared that all its offices will be closed for half a day on January 22 in observance of this auspicious occasion.
To ensure the safe and smooth conduct of the mega temple event, the Uttar Pradesh Police Department has deployed over 13 thousand security personnel in and around Ayodhya, according to ANI.
On January 18, the idol of Shri Ram Lalla, crafted by renowned Mysuru sculptor Arun Yogiraj, was ceremoniously placed inside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. The first glimpse of the idol, covered with a veil, was unveiled during the placement ceremony.
Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya commenced on January 16, a week before the main ceremony, adding a traditional touch to the elaborate proceedings. Special guests from various fields, including cricket, film, saints, politics, art, literature, and culture, have been invited to partake in this historic event.
