New Delhi: A UP teen has claimed that he has bitten by a snake 8 times in the past month. The bizarre claim was made by 17-year-old Yashraj Mishra from Rampur Village in the Basti district who also said that it was the same snake who attacked him and that he has managed to survive it and has no lasting effect.
Mishra said that the same snake bit him seven times in the past one month, he was last attacked by the snake in the past week. His concerned parents have consulted doctors and snake charmers.

"After my son was bitten for the third time by the snake, I sent him to my relative Ramji Shukla's place in Bahadurpur village. A few days later, my son saw the same snake near the house and he was bitten again. Yashraj was hospitalised and treated," said Chandramauli Mishra, the boy’s father in a report by IANS.
They are also trying to understand why the same snake is attacking the boy who is now living in fear.
"We cannot understand why this snake is targeting Yashraj. The boy is now mentally disturbed and lives in the constant fear of the snake. We have performed 'puja' several times and have even called snake charmers to catch the snake, but all have proved futile," said the father.
Even though the boy was attacked eight times, he has managed to survive. The last incident took place on August 25. The boy’s parents are using both the doctor’s treatment and the alternative therapies prescribed to them by the snake charmer.
