Anant Ambani- Radhika Merchant Wedding: Nita Ambani Shines In An Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla 'Rangkat' Ghagra
Commencing the wedding festivities, she attended the baraat procession in a custom Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla ‘Rangkat’ ghagra.
Anant Ambani, son of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani finally got hitched to long-time girlfriend Radhika Merchant, daughter of Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant on July 12 at Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. The wedding was a star-studded event with luminaries arriving from all over the world. The long list of guests included Bollywood celebrities, politicians, sportspeople and other renowned personalities. However, the festivities are not yet over. The grand wedding is set to span over three days, which began with the Shubh Vivaah (wedding). This will be followed by Shubh Aashirwad (blessing ceremony) on July 13 and Mangal Utsav (wedding reception) on July 14.
Nita Ambani, the groom's mother, was dressed to the nines for the wedding, keeping her culture and traditions intact.

Taking to their Instagram handle, the designer duo described the outfit emphasizing the detailed work that artisans had done for 40 days. The outfit reflected Nita Ambani’s vision of celebrating the incredible talent of Indian artisans while sharing the cultural legacy of our country with the world.
"The peach silk ghagra combines hues of vintage bronze, blushing pink and pistachio green. Worn with a jaali blouse crafted in Naqshi and Saadi gold along with silver Zardozi work that is fabulously finished with a dazzling sprinkle of Swarovski crystals, the outfit emanates a regal aura," wrote the designer duo, adding, "Handcrafted by master artisans Vijay Kumar and Monika Maurya of SWADESH for over 40 days, the special outfit has been paired with a traditional ‘Rangkat’ dupatta in exuberant pastel shades."

In addition to her gorgeous ghagra, when Nita Ambani entered the venue with her family, she had a gold Ganesha idol in her carrying, probably signifying auspicious beginnings.

In this design, a beautiful motif of Radha-Krishna on her palms is complemented by the names of the new couple – Anant and Radhika – along with the rest of the Ambani family, on the back of her hands.
