Govinda's Wife Sunita Ahuja Says He Likes To Spend Time With 'Stupid People'
Sunita Ahuja, wife of Bollywood superstar Govinda, shared her thoughts on their marriage, her husband's associates, and life lessons she has learned over the years.
New Delhi: Bollywood star Govinda's wife Sunita Ahuja recently discussed her marriage and her thoughts on Govinda's social circle. Sunita made some interesting remarks about Govinda's friends during her chat with Curly Tales, in which she reflected on the fact that she and Govinda had quite different personalities.
While discussing each other's habits, Sunita Ahuja said that her husband, Govinda, doesn't get enough sleep because of his busy schedule. She said, “He sleeps at 2:30 am. This has always been the case because he used to work round the clock. Now that has become his habit."
Sunita Ahuja's Surprising Admission About Govinda's Friends
Sunita has acknowledged that she does not like the people that her husband spends time with, and she goes so far as to call them "stupid people." She said, “I like to talk less because I don’t like to waste my energy on stupid people. However, Govinda is very fond of stupid people. He sits with four stupid people and then they talk nonsense, which I don’t like. I prefer spending my energy meditating and praying.”
Sunita further stressed that women should prioritise self-care. She said, "Pati-bacche, khud ke liye kab jeeyoge aap? Har saal birthday mein subah main bohot puja-paath karti hoon. Jaise 8 bajta hain, bottle khol ke akele cake kaat ke daaru pee leti hoon (When will you live for yourself if you keep thinking about family? Every year, on my birthday, I go to the temple in the morning. As soon as it’s 8 pm, I cut a cake alone, open a bottle all by myself and start drinking)."
Sunita concluded by sharing a profound life lesson: "Aapka janam hota hain, aap akele paida hote ho. Maroge bhi aap akele. Zindagi khud ke liye bhi jeena chahiye (You come to this world alone and you also die alone. One must learn how to live for oneself)."
In 1987, Sunita and Govinda got married. They have two children, Yashvardhan Ahuja and Tina Ahuja, who are also in the entertainment business.
