Health Care: Vitamin D Deficiency Can Lead To Memory Loss, Know About Its Sources

According to a study, vitamin D deficiency can increase the risk of dementia. It said people with high vitamin D deficiency are 122 percent more likely to have dementia.

Health Care: Vitamin D is very important for our body. The biggest source of this vitamin is sunlight. It is also known as sunshine vitamin.

As other vitamins are important for our body, similarly vitamin D is important for us. It affects almost all the cells of our body. It is extremely essential for the absorption of calcium, health of the heart, brain, immune system and bones.

Not only that, one study has proved that vitamin D can help reduce the risk of diseases like heart disease, sclerosis and even arthritis.

According to another study, vitamin D deficiency can increase the risk of dementia. It said people with high vitamin D deficiency are 122 percent more likely to have dementia. In this case, people easily forget things which can affect their life and routine. A more serious condition for memory loss is called dementia. 

Sources of Vitamin D
We get Vitamin D2 Ergocalciferol from foods, while vitamin D3 cholecalciferol is produced, when sunlight falls on our body. Both vitamins are extremely important to us. D2 can be taken from food, but D3 is produced only in sunlight.

Mushroom
Mushrooms are a great source of vitamin D3 as well as vitamin B. There are fewer calories in mushrooms.

Cod Liver Oil
This oil is considered very good for health. This helps in reducing joint pain and can be used as a capsule or oil.

Sunflower Seeds
They are rich not only in vitamin D3 but also in monounsaturated fats and proteins.
