Covid Update: India's Active Caseload Dips To 25,106, Check New Infections And Recovery Rate

New Delhi: India has again witnessed a decline in Coronavirus cases as the country logged 1,549 new infections on Sunday. 31 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
The active caseload in the country now stands at 25,106 which is 0.06 per cent of the total number of cases.

The country's daily positivity rate has dropped to 0.40% and the total vaccination coverage has reached to 1,81,24,97,303.
Maharashtra
Maharashtra on Sunday reported 113 COVID-19 cases and one fatality, taking the tally to 78,72,413 and the toll to 1,43,767, a state health department official said.
The recovery count increased by 283 to touch 77,23,288, which is 98.11 per cent of the caseload, leaving Maharashtra with an active tally of 1,354, he said.
State health department data showed that the fatality rate stood at 1.82 per cent, while 43,200 samples examined in the last 24 hours had taken the number of tests to 7,89,52,315.
Mumbai reported 27 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, which took the tally to 10,57,561, while the death toll remained unchanged at 16,693, a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) official said.
So far, 10,37,686 people have recovered from the infection, including 44 in the last 24 hours, leaving the metropolis with 298 active cases, according to a PTI report.
With 16,533 samples examined in the last 24 hours, the number of tests in Mumbai reached 1,64,92,470, BMC data showed.
It also revealed that the city's recovery rate was 98 per cent, while its caseload doubling time stood at 18,821 days.
