Nazara Technologies, the Mumbai-headquartered gaming company, declared its strategic acquisition of Comic Con India through its subsidiary, Nodwin Gaming, on Wednesday. Under this agreement, Nodwin Gaming is set to procure the entire equity of Comic Con India Pvt Ltd at a noteworthy valuation of Rs 55 crore. As reported by CNBC TV18, the transaction, involving a combination of cash and share swaps, will see the founders of Comic Con India, Jatin Varma and Karan Kalra, receive Rs 27.44 crore in cash, with the remaining Rs 27.55 crore fulfilled through a share swap mechanism.
