‘The Family Man’ Actress Priyamani Recalls Fond Memories With Shah Rukh Khan From ‘Chennai Express’ Shoot: ‘He Gave Me Rs 300’

Priyamani, who played the character of Srikant Tiwari’s (played by Manoj Bajpayee) wife Suchi/Suchitra Iyer, recalled her fond memories with Shah Rukh Khan while shooting for the song ‘1234' from 'Chennai Express'. Read on.

Mumbai: ‘The Family Man 2’ received lots of appreciation from both the critics and the audience. Just like the first part, the second part of the web series starred Manoj Bajpayee in the role of the protagonist. Samantha Akkineni donned the role of the antagonist and nailed her character of a Tamil rebel with perfection.

Well, not only the lead cast of ‘The Family Man 2’ received praises for their performances but the supporting cast of the web series also owned the screens with the brilliant execution of their characters. The supporting cast of ‘The Family Man 2’ consists of Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar, Sunny Hinduja, Shreya Dhanwanthary and others. All of them were seen portraying pivotal roles which affected the storyline of the series.

Priyamani, who played the character of Srikant Tiwari’s (played by Manoj Bajpayee) wife Suchi/Suchitra Iyer, did a splendid job in illustrating the character of a working mother and the wife of a secret intelligence officer. Recently, while speaking to Zoom Entertainment, Priyamani recalled her fond memories with Shah Rukh Khan while shooting for the song ‘1234 get on the dance floor’ from the movie ‘Chennai Express’.

Priyamani revealed that during the shooting of the song, SRK gave her Rs 300 which she still has in her wallet. She further disclosed that King Khan used to make everyone comfortable and that she used to play ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ on SRK’s iPad. Priyamani told the entertainment portal, “…I reached a day before we started the shoot. Right from that time till the time we finished the shoot, he has been an absolute sweetheart. He has taken care of all of us so well. So much so, that in between, we played Kaun Banega Crorepati on his iPad. He gave me 300 rupees which I still have with me in my wallet. He just makes you feel comfortable. He is such a sweet guy and as I said, he is one of the biggest superstars we have in our country.”

Meanwhile, Priyamani will be next seen starring alongside Ajay Devgn in the upcoming sports biographical movie ‘Maidaan’.
