New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan was in Dubai on Tuesday for a promotional event of a real estate brand that belonged to his friend where he made heads turn in an all-black ensemble that included a black coat, shirt and trousers. After the event, he interacted with a few guests and fans. What caught everyone's attention was an overexcited fan who kissed him on the cheek. A video showing this has gone viral and netizens seem to be upset with this. 

In a video shared on social media, Shah Rukh can be seen walking towards the backstage area with his manager Pooja Dadlani and his bodyguards. He is surrounded by the guests and his fans who are overjoyed on seeing him. Amidst all this, a woman in a black dress approaches him and asks, "Can I give you a kiss?", but before Shah Rukh could reply, she plants a kiss on his cheek. She then moves away and is seen laughing with joy at what she just did.

This act by the women was not taken in good spirits by netizens as they found it to be forceful and uncalled for. Users poured in their comments as they bashed the woman. One of them said, "Jail me daalo ladki ko (Put the woman in jail.)", while another user said, "So not cool! What if the roles were reversed? Honestly, that shouldn't even be a consideration... whatever happened to personal space & consent?"

A third user wrote, "What if an adult male fan did the same to an actress say Madhuri? Would it still be cool??" and a fourth comment read, "What is wrong is wrong, it doesn't need the "If the genders were reversed... " argument."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in the action-thriller 'Jawan', which is scheduled to be released in theatres on September 7. The movie, directed by Atlee, also features South Asian actors Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in the key roles. Additionally, he also has 'Dunki' with Rajkumar Hirani in the pipeline.
