'Vikram' Collects Rs 200 Cr At Box Office. Kamal Haasan Celebrates By Gifting Rolex Watch To Suriya

Kamal Haasan starrer 'Vikram' has become a box office sensation. The film has already collected Rs 200 crores at the box office in less than a week since release. The Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil and Suriya. In order to celebrate the massive success of the film, Kamal Haasan has gone on a gifting spree. After gifting a Lexus car to 'Vikram's director, Kamal Haasan now has given his own Rolex watch to Suriya.

Film critic and trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to his Twitter handle to share 'Vikram's box office numbers. He shared that the Kamal Haasan starrer collected Rs 200 crores in less than a week."#Vikram enters the ₹200 Crs (crore) WW (worldwide) Gross Club,” he tweeted.
On Monday, Bala tweeted that 'Vikram' collected over Rs 150 crores in just 3 days. His tweet read: “#Vikram has turned out to be a universal hit with terrific WOM. The @ikamalhaasan action extravaganza directed by @Dir_Lokesh has grossed over ₹150Cr from worldwide box-office in opening weekend, India alone accounting for ₹100 Cr+. Biggest post pandemic hit from Kollywood (sic).”
'Vikram' stars Kamal Haasan in the lead. He plays the role of a RAW agent that he also played in the 1986 film of the same name. Fahadh Faasil plays the current head of the squad of which Kamal is a part while Vijay Sethupathi plays a drug kingpin.
The film was released in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu and released alongside two pan-India releases like 'Major' and 'Samrat Prithviraj'.
As 'Vikram's box office collection soars, Kamal Haasan in a celebratory mood gifted a Lexus car to it's director Lokesh and his own Rolex watch to Suriya who appear in a cameo of the film.
Lokesh also shared a picture of the car on Twitter and thanked Kamal Haasan.
Suriya also tweeted a picture of himself with Kamal Haasan and thanked him for gifting his own watch to Suriya.
