New Delhi: Bollywood’s heartthrob Varun Dhawan will soon tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend Natasha Dalal. Varun and Natasha are one of the most adored duos of the tinsel town and their fans have been eagerly waiting for their big day.

Well, the wait is over as the couple is all set to tie the knot on January 24, 2021, reportedly. The wedding will be a big fat Punjabi wedding with the presence of close family members due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Though the wedding festivities will take place in Alibaugh, according to a report by a leading entertainment portal, the first ritual of Varun-Natasha’s wedding will take place in Mumbai itself.

Reportedly, the ‘Coolie No 1’ actor’s family will visit Natasha at her residence in Juhu for the ‘chunni chadana’ ceremony before kickstarting the wedding festivities in Alibaugh. A source close to the Dhawan family told PinkVilla, “The members of the groom’s family will visit the bride’s household with jewellery, gifts, sweets and a red-coloured outfit like a saree or lehenga-choli, along with a red chunri. The red chunri is placed over the head of the bride by her to-be mother-in-law. This ceremony is called chunni chadana which will happen in Mumbai within the families.”

Also, according to a report by the same publication, Varun’s parents have already sent out e-invites asking people to block their dates from January 22 to 25.

The ‘Sui Dhaaga’ actor made his relationship official with his ladylove Natasha Dalal last year. The childhood lovebirds have managed to keep their relationship low-key over the years. However, while giving an interview to Filmfare recently, Varun revealed about his marriage plans and said, “Everyone is talking about this (his marriage) for the last two years. There is nothing concrete right now. There is so much uncertainty in the world right now, but if things settle down (COVID and its impact), then maybe this year. I mean… I am planning for it definitely soon. But let there be more certainty.”

On the professional front, Varun Dhawan was last seen starring in ‘Coolie No 1’ opposite Sara Ali Khan. He will next be seen starring in ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ opposite Kiara Advani.
