Subsequently, Shah Rukh became a center of attack for trolls who accused him of spitting at the mortal remains of the legendary singer while he was reciting the duaa(prayers).

According to some people, breathing air is part of praying for a deceased soul in Islam. However, others felt that SRK was spitting on Late Lata Ji's body and began to despise the actor.
