TV Actor Pearl V Puri’s First Post After Bail In Alleged Rape Case; Reveals His Mother Is Battling Cancer

In the hard-hitting post Pearl revealed that he lost his maternal grandmother a few months ago, then his father and now his mother is undergoing cancer treatment.

TV actor Pearl V Puri, who was arrested and later released on bail in alleged minor rape case has shared an emotional post about the struggles he has been facing.

For the first time since he walked out of jail, Pearl shared a note on Instagram where he poured his heart out and thanked his fans and supporters for the love they have showered on him in this difficult time.

In the hard-hitting post Pearl revealed that he lost his maternal grandmother a few months ago, then his father and now his mother is undergoing cancer treatment.

Pearl’s post reads as: 'Last couple of weeks were gruelling for me like a nightmare. I was overnight made to feel like a criminal. All of this in the midst of my mother's cancer treatment. It shattered my sense of security, making me feel helpless. I am still numb...but I felt it's time to reach out to my friends, fans and well-wishers who've showered me with their love, support and concern.I trust in the law, judiciary of my country and God up there. Please keep your duas coming."

The post was captioned as, "I feel blessed to have each one of y’all thank you for being my biggest strength."

For the uninitiated, Pearl has been accused of allegedly raping a minor girl, reportedly the incident took place in 2019 during the shoot of his television show, Bepanah Pyaarr. The alleged victim is the daughter of Pearl's co-star on show.
