'FIR' Actor Vipul Roy Postpones Wedding with Fiancee Due To Coronavirus Crisis

TV actor Vipul Roy was planning to settle down with his US-based Turkish fiancee in August 2020.

New Delhi: TV actor Vipul Roy, known for his role as Bhola Pandit in Kavita Kaushik starrer ‘FIR’, was planning to tie the knot with his fiancée in August 2020. However, the actor has decided to postpone his wedding due to the Coronavirus pandemic, which has wreaked havoc all across the world. Vipul got engaged to US-based Turkish girlfriend Melis Atici in October 2018 in Istanbul. He had shared the good news with his fans on social media. The ‘Partners: Trouble Hogayi Trouble’ actor posted a picture with his ladylove on Instagram while making their relationship official. Here is the big news !!! Vipul’s fiancée relocated to Mumbai to spend quality time with her beau and also to get a taste of her new life in India. Melis went to San Francisco to meet her family four months back but she couldn’t return to India due to the COVID-19 crisis. According to a report in a leading daily, the couple was planning to finalise their wedding date after her return from the US. Vipul, while talking to the daily, said that his fiancée’s entire family had plans to come to India but the COVID-19 outbreak changed everything.

“We were planning to finalise the wedding date and venue after she returned from the US in March. In fact, we had already finalised the court marriage date. Her entire family was planning to fly down to India, but unfortunately, the pandemic has changed everything,” Vipul told Bombay Times. The talented actor further said that he is in touch with fiancée through video calls. He added that they have no choice but to accept the situation.

Vipul Roy was previously in a relationship with ‘Bigg Boss 9’contestant Yuvika Chaudhary. Yuvika is now happily married to Prince Narula while Vipul will soon get hitched to Melis.
