Samir Sharma to play Akshara's brother Shaurya in 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke'!

The 'Yeh Rishta...' spin-off to go on air from 18th March and will take the time slot of Nakuul Mehta's 'Ishqbaaaz' which is set to end on 15th March.

Rajan Shahi's 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke', the spin-off to his much-loved show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', featuring Shaheer Sheikh & Rhea Sharma in lead roles is one of the most awaited TV shows. Various actors from 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', including Lataa Saberwal,  Sanjeev Seth, Pooja Joshi among others, will be a part of 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke' too. The actor confirmed to IWMBuzz that he is a part of 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke' however he was not too clear about his character. For the uninitiated, the actor is back to TV after a long time as he was critically ill and went to Bangalore in 2017 for his treatment. He was a part of ZEE TV's 'Bhootu' when he fell ill. Speaking about the same, he further told the portal that, "I had multiple health aberrations with typhoid and jaundice. I was part of many shows at that moment. I do not like talking about anything. I was collapsing and that was when I had to be taken to Bangalore for treatment. It took me nearly 3 months to recover. Post that, I stayed in Bangalore for another 9 months or so. And now it is a nice feeling to get back to work."
