Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata: Shivangi Joshi & Mohsin Khan Set To Resume Shoot Days After Co-Actors Tested COVID-19 Positive

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai stars Shivangi Joshi & Mohsin Khan tested negative for COVID-19. Their test reports came on Tuesday (August 25) morning.

It was no less than a heartbreak for the ardent fans of popular TV show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' when the showmakers had announced to pause the shooting of the show after actors Swati Chitnis, Sachin Tyagi and Samir Onkar tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. ALSO READ | 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai' Actor Rajesh Kumar Aka Rosesh Tests Positive For COVID-19, Says 'Lost Sense Of Taste, Smell'  In a statement issued on Monday, Rajan Shahi, the director of Kut Productions had said that actors Swati Chitnis, Sachin Tyagi, Samir Onkar along with four crew members of the show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', tested positive for COVID-19. Though the three of them are asymptomatic, the entire on-crew team was isolated and tested immediately. As a precautionary measure, the makers of the show santised and fumigated the sets after the actors and crew members tested positive for COVID-19. According to the reports, Shivanji Joshi and Mohsin Khan, who play the lead roles, underwent tests as they were shooting with Sachin Tyagi in the past few days. Thankfully, everyone’s favourite Naira and Kartik tested negative for COVID-19. Their test reports came on Tuesday (August 25) morning. Going by a Pinkvilla report, the lead stars after taking a three day rest have now returned to the sets to resume the shooting for the show. The report stated that the focus on the show will now shift on 'Kiara Moments and Keerti' as Sachin Tyagi who plays the role of Manish Goenka in the show will be unavailable to shoot for some days. 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' is one of the most popular shows on Indian television. The show, which airs on Star Plus, has successfully completed over 3000 episodes. Shivangi and Mohsin Khan play the respective roles of Naira and Kartik. Their chemistry is quite popular among the viewers.
