YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI to have a sequel? Here is the Truth!

New Delhi: Star Plus’ longest running show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has been entertaining viewers from 9 years. Recently show took leap of 2 years and the story line shifted to Mumbai. Naira and Karthik will get close in the upcoming episodes and it will be a treat for the fans. But there is a buzz related to show since morning and it is that Producer of the show Rajan Shahi is thinking to make a sequel of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. As per news in Tellychakkar.com, “Shahi, the head honcho of Director’s Kut is gearing up for his next project on the digital space. Apparently, the talks are on and at an advanced stage. The project would be Shahi’s take on urban families and the character’s perception of relationship. It will be broadcast on digital platform.” However, when Tellybuzz contacted Rajan Shahi he denied the news and said, “There is no sequel of 'Yeh Rishta...' being planned." On a related note, Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan play the lead roles in the show.
