Rajan Shahi's popular show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', featuring Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan in the lead roles of 'Naira' and 'Kartik', is fetching great numbers for the channel even after completing 10 years in January this year. The makers are churning out interesting tracks and viewers are loving the show's story line as well. Recently, Kartik & Naira exposed Puru Mama (Rituraj Singh) in front of other family members and he's now seeking revenge from them. (Photo: Web) The talented actor, who was last seen in a cameo role in Surbhi Jyoti-Pearl V Puri starrer 'Naagin 3', will reportedly play the role of a fashion designer in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'. Confirming his enter in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', Khushwant told a leading daily that, "I play Mihir Kapoor, a famous, rich and arrogant fashion designer. He is a no-nonsense guy. It’s a positive character. What’s interesting about 'YRKKH' is that none of the characters in it are negative, only the situation is." Honestly, it’s more challenging than coming on board since inception. An artiste doesn’t get a lot of time to make an impression on the audience. Since the cast members of a show share a close bond if they shoot for it from the beginning, gelling with them when you join midway can be tough, too. But I am accustomed to this challenge." On the career front, Khushwant Walia made his TV debut with Nakuul Mehta's 'Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara' and went on to feature in various popular shows like 'Ishq Ka Rang Safed', 'Sasural Simar Ka', 'Piya Albela' among others.
