'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' Actress Mohena Kumari Singh Opens Up About Her COVID-19 Experience

Mohena Kumari Singh revealed that all her family members have successfully recovered from Coronavirus.

New Delhi: Popular TV actress Mohena Kumari Singh, who is known for playing for the role of Keerti in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, tested negative for COVID-19 after a month-long battle with the virus. Mohena and her family members had tested positive for Coronavirus in the beginning of June. The talented actress thanked the doctors and health care professionals on the occasion of National Doctor’s Day 2020 in a heartfelt post. Mohena also informed her fans that she tested negative for the virus. She wrote, “We finally tested Negative of coronavirus... after a month! We’d like to thank all the Doctors and Health care professionals for doing the best they could with whatever information was available to the world about this virus, at AIIMS RISHIKESH.” READ Her FULL Post Here!
The actress, while talking to an entertainment portal, opened up about her battle with COVID-19. She also revealed that all her family members have recovered. She said that she was nervous before getting tested for Coronavirus. "It is just that when you hear that you have got exposed to the virus, you just feel shaken. The night before we were to take the test, we felt the anxiousness. Going into it, physically, I had body ache for three-four days, I had intense pain and was unbearable. Also, my mother in law’s fever was going up and was high, I just feel it is mental khel because you keep thinking what will happen now. But it can be tricky for old people," Mohena told Pinkvilla. The actress also emphasized that it is important to be ‘selfless’ instead of being ‘selfish’. She said that her husband Suyesh Rawat supported her and she took ‘positive energy’ from him. We put our stress into taking care of our people. On the 9th or 10th day, it was getting too much. What really helped was my husband. I had a lot of anxiety on those days but I just held his hands and stood and took positive energy from him,” she further told the portal.
Mohena had earlier shared a post to inform everyone that her brother Divyaraj Singh also tested positive for COVID-19. She has now revealed that Divyaraj  has tested negative for the virus in his latest test.
Mohena got married to Suyesh Rawat in a grand ceremony in Haridwar in October 2019. The actress shifted base to Dehradun post her wedding. Mohena's father-in-law is Satpal Maharaj, who is the tourism, cultural and irrigation minister of Uttarakhand. Mohena Kumari Singh became a household name after playing the role of Keerti in Star Plus' ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. The show stars Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan in lead roles.
