Divyanka Tripathi SQUASHES rumours of tiff with Ekta Kapoor, REVEALS why she didn't attend her birthday bash

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress Divyanka Tripathi has reacted to the rumours of her tiff with TV Czarina Ekta Kapoor. She also revealed why she skipped Ekta's birthday party.

New Delhi: Ekta Kapoor turned a year older on June 7 and the TV Czarina hosted a grand birthday bash for her close friends from the industry. Bollywood and television celebs including ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ actors Erica Fernandes, Parth Samthaan and Karan Singh Grover attended the birthday party. Ekta’s BFFs Anita Hassanandani and Krystle D’Souza were also spotted at her Juhu bungalow on Saturday night. Popular TV actress Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya was conspicuous by her absence at the birthday bash.  The beautiful actress, who is currently seen as Ishita Bhalla in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ opposite Karan Patel, was missing from the party. Gossip mills have been buzzing with the rumours that things are not well between Divyanka and Ekta. It was said that the actress is giving a hard time to the production team of ‘Cold Lassi And Chicken Masala’. The web series will beam on ALT Balaji, which is Ekta Kapoor’s video-on-demand platform.

Divyanka Tripathi, while talking to an entertainment portal, has squashed all the rumours of her tiff with Ekta Kapoor. “There are no differences between us and things are smooth like before,” the actress told SpotboyE. When asked why she didn’t attend Ekta’s birthday party, the ‘Nach Baliye 8’ winner said that she was busy shooting for ‘Cold Lassi’. “I skipped the bash because I was busy shooting for her show (Cold Lassi And Chicken Masala) only,” Divyanka told the portal. Divyanka has cleared the air about her absence from Ekta Kapoor’s birthday party and we hope the rumours can now rest to peace.

Divyanka and Ekta share a close bond and the former is often spotted at the 'Naagin 3' and 'Kumkum Bhagya' producer's parties. The 'Voice 3' host even congratulated Ekta with a heartfelt post after the arrival of her baby boy Ravie Kapoor. ''New mommy in town!???? So happy for you Ekta!!!
