Tujhse Hai Raabta Actor QUITS Zee TV Show, Says 'I Am Preparing Myself For Bigg Boss'

New Delhi: TV buffs have been eagerly waiting for the resumption of shoots in Mumbai. The shoots for all TV shows, films, web series and ads have been put on hold in Maharashtra since March 19. The government of Maharashtra has given permission to Bollywood and TV industry to resume their shoots. The makers will have to follow several guidelines while shooting for their respective projects. We had earlier informed you that Naina Singh has quit Zee TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’. She played the role of Shabir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha’s on-screen daughter in the popular show. Now, another actor on the same channel has quit his hit show. We are talking about Shagun Pandey. Shagun, who played the role of Atharva in ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’, has bid adieu to his show. He took to social media to confirm his exit from the show starring Reem Shaikh and Sehban Azim. He wrote, "Reporting from the #tujhsehairaabta set Well crazy 5 years on the same set and in same room #Badhobahu first and then Raabata but now i think its time to say good bye here . I hope #Atharvabapat entertained you guys . THANK U for all the love thank u each and everyone for making this happen . cheers to #goodtimes .... Stay tuned there’s a lot to come."

Shagun, while talking to an entertainment portal, said that he is looking forward to doing a show like ‘Bigg Boss’, if it happens. The actor participated in MTV Splitsvilla and he is now ready to be part of ‘Bigg Boss’. “I am mentally preparing myself and doing my homework. I have just understood what are the key features for survival in the house. How you need to function and sustain in the house and win the show eventually. I don’t want to go there, stay for sometime, gain popularity and come back. I want to go there and do something nice. I am watching the previous seasons and discuss it with Prince (Narula) at times. Prince is like my brother,” Shagun told ETimes.

Interestingly, the makers of ‘Bigg Boss’ have already started approaching celebs for the next season of the show. They have reportedly approached ‘Naagin 3’ actress Surbhi Jyoti for ‘Bigg Boss 14’. Talking about Shagun, the actor started his career with ‘Santoshi Maa’ and later went on to do ‘Badho Bahu’. It was his role in ‘Tujhse Hai Raabta’, which made him a household name.
