Tail dilemma for TV's new Hanuman Danish Akhtar

Wrestler-turned-actor Danish Akhtar, who will be seen playing the role of Hanuman in "Siya Ke Ram", says the makers of the popular mythological show took 35 look tests of him for the role and even made close to 300 tails to suit the best one for his look. siya-ke-ram-hanuman-fotor Danish has spent around three months on his acting training and keeping Hanuman's look in mind, the makers had to make around 300 tails to get the best one to match Danish's look in the show. "Some of them either were too small or too big for me while there were some others that didn’t match my colour tone and some didn’t have the right shape.  “It was almost after 35 look tests and after almost 300 tails, the makers finalised the perfect one that would match the entire get up,” Danish said in a statement. siya-ke-ram-fotor-2 “As a common man, I had no idea that so much of time and energy goes into making a show. I am glad that I am able to experience it in person,” he added. “Siya Ke Ram”, aired on Star Plus, is a unique presentation of Ramayana from Sita's perspective.   IANS
