Vibhoutee Sharma has reacted to the rumours of replacing Disha Vakani as new Dayaben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

New Delhi: Sony SAB’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ has managed to tickle the funny bones of the viewers, all thanks it comedy filled episodes. The popular sitcom is making waves these days after it was confirmed that Disha Vakani won’t return. The beautiful actress, who plays the role of Dayaben in the show, enjoys a significant fan following. She is on a maternity break since September 2017. Speculations were rife that Vibhuti Sharma would replace Disha Vakani as the new Dayaben. The actress, who has been part of shows like ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain’ and ‘Humne Li Hai Shapat’, has refuted the rumours on her Instagram story and we were the first to inform you about that. Vibhuti, who spells her name as Vibhoutee Sharma on social media, squashed the rumours of giving a mock test for ‘Taarak Mehta’. The actress, while talking to a leading daily, said that she is not interested in doing TV shows. "I don’t know where these rumours are coming from. I am not replacing Disha Vakani in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, neither have I given any mock test. I am not interested in doing TV shows. I have currently taken a break from acting. This is really funny. I keep doing ads and was never interested in doing regular daily soaps," Vibhoutee told Times Of India.

With Vibhoutee squashing all the rumours, the hunt for new Dayaben will continue till the makers find a suitable replacement. Interestingly, gossip mills were earlier buzzing with the rumours that Ami Trivedi was approached to replace Disha Vakani. However, the rumours faded out quite soon.
