New Delhi: ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ is one of the most loved shows on Indian television. The popular sitcom will complete 11 successful years in July this year. The characters of TMKOC have garnered their own fan following over the years. Disha Vakani, who plays the role of Dayaben, has been missing from the show since the birth of her daughter. We had earlier informed you that the makers had given the actress a 30-day ultimatum to return to the show. Gossip mills were recently buzzing with the rumours that Ami Trivedi would replace Disha Vakani as the new Dayaben. The show’s producer Asit Modi said that the hunt for a suitable actress was still going. Now a report in an entertainment portal has suggested that Disha had a brief talk with someone from the higher ups in Neela Telefilms. Yes, you read that right. The actress reportedly contacted the production house and opened the doors of talks with them. The actress has indirectly conveyed that she has not taken ahead stand of not coming back to the show, the report in SpotboyE said.
