Ankita and Sushant fell in love on the sets of ‘Pavitra Rishta’. They parted ways in 2016,  leaving everyone surprised. Ankita, last seen in 'Baaghi 3', also hailed SC's verdict and called it the 'first step to justice'. She wrote, "Justice is the truth in action. Truth wins."
The Supreme Court has directed Mumbai Police to hand over the evidence collected so far in the case to the CBI. Sushant's family members issued a statement after the verdict was announced and thanked their well-wishers for the support. Sushant's case took a new turn last month when his father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty, her parents, brother and others under various sections of the IPC including abetment to suicide.
