‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2’ has been making waves ever since the first promo of the show was unveiled last month.

Ever since, the first promo of Star Plus’ much-awaited show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 was out fans have been speculating who is going to play the lead role of Gehna on show! The promo of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 had Gopi Bahu aka Devoleena Bhattacharjee mentioning about another lead actress Gehna in the show. Since then names of many popular TV actresses including Kanchi Singh, Niti Taylor and Avika Gor surfaced in media for the role of Gehna.

And now finally the makers have confirmed the name of actress bagging the role of Gehna! There were reports that show's producer Rashmi Sharma was looking for a fresh face to play this character and she has finalised newcomer Sneha Jain for the role of Gehna. Actor Harsh Nagar will play the lead role opposite her.

While talking to a leading daily, producer Rashmi Sharma said, “It was difficult to audition for the leads, as it all happened online because of the pandemic. But thankfully, our cast is finalised now. While Harsh, who will play the role of Anant, has done a few serials in the past, Sneha, who will be seen as Gehna, is new to Hindi television; she has done Gujrati serials and theatre.”
