Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2: Niti Taylor, Kanchi Singh, Avika Gor & Other TV Actresses Approached To Play Gehna?

‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2’ has been making waves ever since the first promo of the show was unveiled last month. The show became the talk of the town after Yashraj Mukhate’s hilarious rap video went viral on social media. The singer-musician turned one of the scenes featuring Rupal Patel aka Kokilben Modi into a rib-tickling rap. The video created a lot of buzz and was heavily circulated across different platforms.

Gossip mills are buzzing with the rumours that the several leading TV actresses have been approached to play Gehna in ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2’. According to a report in an entertainment portal, popular small screen divas have received an offer from the makers of the show.

‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actress Kanchi Singh is also in the race to play the role of Gehna. The actress has been missing from the small screen since quite some time and we believe, she would fit the bill perfectly, when it comes to portraying a bahu on-screen.

Aditi Bhatia, who played the role of Ruhi in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’, has been approached to play the leading lady in Saathiya 2’, a report in Pinkvilla said. Aditi essayed the character of Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi’s on-screen daughter.

Small screen’s Anandi aka Avika Gor has reportedly been approached by the production house of ‘Saathiya 2’. Interestingly, Avika has previously worked with Rashmi Sharma in ‘Sasural Simar Ka’, where she was seen opposite Manish Raisinghan. She is fondly known for her role in Balika Vadhu.

Popular TV actress Niti Taylor, who is known for playing the role of Nandini opposite Parth Samthaan in ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan’, is also in contention to play the role of Gehna in ‘Saathiya 2’. Niti was last seen in full-fledged role in ‘Ishqbaaaz’ opposite Nakuul Mehta.
