Shehnaaz Gill Says She Ran Away From Home For Her Dreams: Few Families Support Working Women
Shehnaaz Gill will discuss how some families don't support working women and the difficulties that women face in achieving their goals.
New Delhi: Shehnaaz Gill discussed leaving her family behind in the upcoming episode of 'Indian Idol 13' to pursue her dreams. The singer will mark her presence at the Senior Citizen Special episode of singing reality.
Shehnaaz will be shown discussing openly about how some families don't support working women and how challenging it may be for women to accomplish their goals while speaking to contestant Debosmita Roy.
"There are very few families in our country who support working women. 'Main apne sapnon ko poora karne ke liye ghar se bhaag gayi thi (I ran away from my house to fulfill my dreams). Debosmita, you are very lucky to have such supportive parents. Always stand by them and make them proud," Shehnaaz said.
"I recently took my mother on her first international trip to Dubai and the feeling was surreal. It always feels great to do something for your parents,” she continued.
Meanwhile, Shehnaaz Gill's brand-new song 'Ghani Sayani', featuring MC Square, winner of MTV Hustle 2.0, was released on December 5, 2022.
Fans appreciated the music, and some even said Shehnaaz's Haryanvi accent was accurate. Agam and Azeem Mann were the music video's directors. Shehnaaz Gill and MC Square were the singers of the new track.

On the other hand, Shehnaaz just launched Desi Vibes With Shehnaaz Gill, her celebrity chat show. She will soon make her Bollywood debut in 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan', a movie starring Salman Khan. Venkatesh Daggubati, Palak Tiwari, and Pooja Hedge are also included in the Farhad Samji-directed movie. The movie is scheduled to be released in 2023.
