Drashti, who played the role of Nandini, left the show in November 2018 and the makers introduced a six year leap to spice up things. The show was shifted from Colors TV to Voot after ‘Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara’ and ‘Tantra’ were launch. The channel brought back the show on TV and started airing its episodes at 6pm within a week of going off air. ‘Bidaai’ fame actor Kinshuk Mahajan was roped as the new man in Mauli’s (Aditi Sharma) life. The six-year leap also saw the introduction of Mauli and Nandini’s daughter in the show. Speculations were rife that ‘Silsila’ would bid adieu to the viewers soon.
