SHOCKING! Court stays release of short film on Pratyusha Banerjee

Mumbai: A court on March 31 stayed the release of a short film on TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee, who had allegedly committed suicide last year. Actor-producer Rahul Raj Singh, her former boyfriend, has moved the court, seeking to stop the film's release. "The court stayed the release and asked the director Kamya Panjabi and producer Neru Shah to file their replies tomorrow," said advocate Shreyansh Mithare, Rahul's lawyer. Rahul, accused of abetting the suicide, contended that the release of the film may prejudice the case against him. Pratyusha (24), who rose to fame with TV serial 'Balika Vadhu', allegedly hanged herself at her Mumbai apartment on April 1, 2016. On the first death anniversary of Pratyusha, TV actress Kamya Punjabi shared a short but emotional message on her Instagram. She wrote :

Ek saal ho gaye..... Pagal kahi ki... bas tu khush rehna yaara 😘
