New Delhi: Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss’ is one of the most popular reality shows on Indian television. The show enjoys a significant fan following and remains in limelight throughout its three-and-a-half month stint on the small screen. We had earlier informed you that the makers of the show have started preparing for the next season. ‘Bigg Boss 13’ turned out to be a blockbuster affair and the show’s team is planning to recreate magic once again in ‘BB 14’. Gossip mills are buzzing with the rumours that ‘Bigg Boss 14’ will undergo a format change. And guess what? The show’s new concept will be heavily influenced by COVID-19 lockdown. Interestingly, the makers are reportedly planning to change one of their biggest rules. While the contestants in all the thirteen seasons were not allowed to have any communication with the outside world, the new season might surprise the viewers. The ‘Bigg Boss 14’ contestants might connect with the outside world, the report in Tellychakkar said. It is being speculated that the makers will create a special area for the contestants, where they will use electronic gadgets to make vlogs or send video messages to their family members or close friends, the report added. The contestants of the reality show will also undergo COVID-19 tests before entering the ‘Bigg Boss 14’ house.. The makers have already shortlisted 30 people for the new season. Bigg Boss 13’s finalist Paras Chhabra's ex girlfriend Akanksha Puri & ‘Naagin 4’ actress Jasmin Bhasin are said to be in talks with the makers. There’s a strong buzz that we might see the two ladies in the show. Sidharth Shukla lifted the winner’s trophy of ‘Bigg Boss 13’. The other contestants including Asim Riaz, Paras Chhabra, Rashami Desai, Arti Singh and Shehnaaz Gill also grabbed a lot of eyeballs during their stint in the show.
