Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2: Rupal Patel aka Kokilaben would reprise her role in the second season of the popular show starring Sneha Jain and Harsh Nagar.

New Delhi: ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2’ has been making waves ever since the first promo was unveiled last month on Star Plus. Yashraj Mukhate’s hilarious rap featuring Rupal Patel aka Kokilaben Modi created a lot of buzz on social media. The singer-musician turned one of the scenes from ‘Saathiya’ into a rib-tickling rap, which went viral in no time. The makers of the show hit the iron when it red hot and announced a new season. We had earlier informed you that Sneha Jain and Harsh Nagar would play the main leads in ‘Saathiya 2’. While Sneha will be seen as Gehna, Harsh will play the role of Anant. Interestingly, Devoleena Bhattacharjee aka Gopi Bahu will also be seen in the much-awaited show. After the news of Devoleena reprising her role of Gopi spread like wildfire on the internet, ardent fans of the show were curious to know if Rupal Patel would also feature in second season of ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’. The talented actress is currently seen as Meenakshi Rajvansh in ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’. The show starring Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma is the spin-off of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. “There cannot be SNS 2 without its Koki. I couldn’t sleep the night I was approached for SNS 2 as I prefer doing one show at a time. But the channel, Rajan sir and Rashmi ma’am have assured me that we will figure out a way to ensure that everything proceeds smoothly,” Rupal told Mumbai Mirror.
