REEMA LAGOO DEMISE: On-screen ‘Bahu’, Supriya Pilgaonkar REACTS on the SAD NEWS

New Delhi: Reema Lagoo was one of the finest actresses of our Indian Cinema but her sudden demise has left everyone bewildered. She died of cardiac arrest in Mumbai’s Kokilaben Ambani Hospital. Her death was confirmed at 3 in the morning. Earlier we told you that her 'Naamkarann' co-actor Viraf Patel and Gulfam Khan could not control their tears while talking to a leading news portal. Now, it was Supriya Pilgaonkar who got very emotional when she heard the news. Supriya and Reema Lagoo have worked together in superhit Star Plus’ TV show, ‘Tu Tu Main Main’. Supriya played the role of daughter-in-law of Reema Lagoo. While talking to us, Supriya said, “It was a heart sinking moment for me as we have worked together for a long time.” She further added, “Actor like Reema can never be forgotten. My prayers for her onward journey into the light.” For ‘Tu Tu Main Main’, Reema Lagoo also got the Best Actress in a Comic Role Award. Famous for movies like ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kon’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and ‘Vastav’ and ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’, Reema was one of the popular on-screen mothers of Bollywood. Undoubtedly this void cannot be filled but through her acting she will be with us forever.
