'It's A Medal On Our Chest': Producer Ravi Dubey Reacts After 'Udaariyaan' Makes Splashing Entry In List Of Top-Rated Shows

'Udaariyaan' has bagged the number fourth spot in the latest set of BARC TRP ratings.

Mumbai: Colors channel’s ‘Udaariyaan’, which stars Ankit Gupta, Isha Malviya and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, has managed to set the TRP charts on fire. The daily soap has made a splashing entry in the list of top-rated shows in week 36. At a time when several shows are struggling to garner decent ratings, ‘Udaariyaan’ has performed exceptionally well. Despite airing at an early evening slot, the show has garnered a TRP of 2.7.

‘Udaariyaan’ has secured the number fourth spot in the latest set of BARC TRP ratings. It is the slot leader across all general entertainment channels at 7pm.

Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta, who have produced the show under their home banner, are on cloud nine. The daily soap, which started on a slow note, has managed to strike a chord with the viewers in the last two months.

Ravi took to social media to share a heartfelt post to celebrate the success of his show. He thanked the fans for showering the cast with love and blessings. Karan V Grover, Arji Taneja and other small screen celebs dropped comments to wish the duo on the achievement. Check out his post!

The 'Jamai Raja' star penned another post to express his gratitude towards the fans and show's team. He wrote, "Sargun Mehta, if only I could have met you today and celebrated this victory of ours in person …but I can still declare it on behalf of both of us with pride, joy and gratitude …Udaariyaan is unlike any other project for us primarily because it required us invest in it with all that we had not just creatively but also monetarily , we had a lot of good friends and goodwill in the industry courtesy our journey of the last decade and a half, many highly successful producer friends who were graciously willing to help and co produce with us however we decided to go ‘all chips in’ and do this independently."

"The risk was unprecedented but our faith in the unmanifested is also unprecedented…it started small but dont we all ….it’s heartening and humbling to see the victories coming our way through udaariyaan..and the faith it is generating for us in the industry at large …Udaariyaan is not just a feather in our cap it’s a medal on our chest ….as they say our ancestors out number our challenges ..our ancestors always have our back," Ravi added.
