Raqesh Bapat & Ridhi Dogra confirm separation after 7 years of wedding!

After tying the knot in 2011, Raqesh & Ridhi have now announced that they are no more together.

TV actors Raqesh Bapat & Ridhi Dogra, who got married in May 2011, are one of the most loved couple on small screen. Yesterday (6th February), various reports suggested that all is not well between Raqesh & Ridhi's wedding and they are living separately. The couple's common friends were aware about it and also tried to mend the gap but their efforts reportedly went in vain. This decision has been taken with mutual respect and care for each other and our families. We are two best friends who may not be a couple anymore. But our friendship will continue as it always has, through thick and thin. Appreciate if no further speculation is made and heartfelt gratitude to everyone for all the love you have always given us." When Raqesh Bapat & Ridhi Dogra shared heartwarming posts for each other on 7th wedding anniversary! Whereas, Raqesh spoke about the same to a leading daily and said that, "Yes, Ridhi and I have decided to separate. There is nothing bad and it's in fact a positive one. We are in a good space even now and will be the same forever. We are great friends and will continue to be the same always. We married as two best friends marrying each other and the special bond will always be there. Our friendship will always be there." Over a period of seven years you get to know how someone fits in your life. So, there is no specific reason that I can point out to. The vibes sometime just don't work. We still love each other, it's just that the definition of love, in our case has changed now." For the uninitiated, Raqesh & Ridhi first met on the sets of Sony TV's 'Seven' & had no idea they they will get married. Later, Ridhi & Raqesh fell in love with each other on sets of Star Plus show 'Maryaada Lekin Kab Tak?' in which they played the lead roles of Priya and Aditya respectively. He is also busy with Marathi films. Whereas, Ridhi is on a break ever since she quit Zee TV's 'Woh Apna Sa' in 2017 in which she got appreciation for her negative role of 'Nisha'.
