Mumbai: The wait is finally over. Colors channel has announced the launch date of ‘The Big Picture’. The quiz-based show, which will mark the TV debut of Bollywood star Ranveer Singh, will soon hit the airwaves. The show has been making waves ever since the makers shared the first promo. 

‘The Big Picture’ Gets Launch Date, Time Slot 

Ranveer Singh’s much-awaited show will go on air from October 16 at 8pm. It will run for one-and-a-half hours on weekends. The official Instagram handle of Colors TV shared the promo along with the caption, “Machaiye shor kyunki intezaar hoga no more, aa rahe hain Ranveer lekar ek anokha quiz show. Dekhiye The Big Picture, 16th October se, Sat-Sun, raat 8 baje, sirf #Colors par."

Fans are quite excited for Ranveer's TV debut as the 'Gully Boy' star is known for being a livewire. His charisma and energy has managed to establish him as one of the leading actors in tinsel town.

‘The Big Picture’ To Replace ‘Dance Deewane 3’ 

‘The Big Picture’ will replace the popular dance reality show, which is judged by Madhuri Dixit, Tushar Kalia and Dharmesh Yelande. ‘Dance Deewane 3’ is expected to air its grand finale episode on October 10. 

From Salman To Amitabh, Bollywood Actors Who Have Hosted Shows On TV

Several actors including Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt have hosted non-fiction shows on the small screen. Salman will soon return with a new season of 'Bigg Boss 15' while Big B is currently busy hosting 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 13'.

Ranveer Singh's Upcoming Films

On the professional front, the 'Simmba' star will be next seen in Kabir Khan's '83'. The sports drama co-starring Boman Irani, Ammy Virk and Pankaj Tripathi will hit the silver screens on 24, 2021. The film has been delayed twice due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Ranveer has several exciting projects in her kitty including 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar', 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani', to name a few.
