Rakhi Sawant Reacts After AAP's Raghav Chadha Drags Her Name To Lambast Navjot Singh Sidhu
The 'Bigg Boss 14' contestant trended on Twitter after Raghav Chadha called Navjot Singh Sidhu 'Rakhi Sawant of Punjab politics'.
Mumbai: Actress-dancer Rakhi Sawant trended on Twitter after AAP leader Raghav Chadha mentioned her name while taking a dig at Congress' Navjot Singh Sidhu. Chaddha called Sidhu the ‘Rakhi Sawant of Punjab politics’ after the latter criticized Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over the farm reforms. Several citizens expressed their displeasure over the ‘sexist’ jibe and asked Raghav Chaddha to issue an apology to Rakhi.
Sawant, who seemed unaware about Chaddha’s remark, posted a screenshot of Kavita Kaushik’s tweet on her Instagram handle. The ‘Bigg Boss 14’ contestant wrote, “Wow guys congratulations to me. I am trending on Twitter. Wow, thank you God.”
Sambhavna Seth dropped a comment on the post. She wrote, "Absolutely true @ikavitakaushik She is very hardworking..God bless u."

What Kavita Posted About Rakhi?
Kavita, who was also part of ‘Bigg Boss 14’, praised Rakhi for lifting the entertainment quotient in ‘Bigg Boss’. “Rakhi Sawant- the most hard working who gives her hundred percent loyalty and effort to each project she takes, turning a dull flop show into an entertaining one, she is a compliment compared to the hateful fake counter parts!,” the ‘FIR’ actress wrote on the micro-blogging site.
Rakhi Sawant grabbed several eyeballs during her stint in Salman Khan’s ’Bigg Boss 14’. She entered the ‘BB 14’ house as a wildcard contestant in December 2020. The viewers labelled her as the ‘entertainer’ of the popular reality show.
Sawant, who emerged as one of the finalists of ‘Bigg Boss 2020’, quit the game during the grand finale. She walked away with Rs 14 lakh, finishing at fifth position.
