Priyanka Chopra has no interest towards Assam floods, says TV actress Mahika Sharma.

New Delhi: Model and actress Mahika Sharma is upset with Bollywood-Hollywood star Priyanka Chopra. She claims that Priyanka Chopra being Assam Tourism brand ambassador is showing no interest towards Assam floods. Priyanka was appointed as Assam’s Tourism brand ambassador in 2016 and is currently staying out of the country because of her hectic international schedules. She is currently shooting in the US for her two Hollywood flicks, 'A Kid Like Jake' and 'Isn’t It Romantic?' after the release of her debut movie, 'Baywatch' earlier this year. Mahika said in a statement, “Priyanka is my aspiration and inspiration. She is really a humble person. But I’m very upset with her. Because she owns some power to help the poor who are victims of Assam floods. She didn’t even show any emotions for the state even on the social networking site. This is what not only me but anyone from Assam would be upset.” “I don’t wish she takes my word personally but understand me and Assam people’s emotions and excitement from her being associated with the state,” she concludes. Definitely, Assam tourist spots have been targeted by flood and being Assam Tourist Ambassador Priyanka should say her word on it.
