CONFIRMED: Not Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2 To REPLACE This Show

Time slot of 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2' has been finally revealed. The show starring Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Sneha Jain will replace another popular show on the channel.

It won’t be wrong to say the first promo of ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2’ has managed to create anticipation among the fans. Devoleena Bhattacharjee aka Gopi bahu introduced the character of Gehna in the show’s teaser, leaving everyone curious. The production house recently revealed that Sneha Jain will be essaying the role of Gehna while Harsh Nagar will be seen opposite her. Speculations were rife that ‘Saathiya 2’ would replace ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’. Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan starrer ‘Kasautii 2’ will bid adieu to the viewers on October 3 after a successful run of two years on Star Plus. It was rumoured that ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2’ will take over the 8pm slot on the channel. We had earlier informed you that the new season will take a prime time slot. However, the contrary to the rumours ‘Saathiya 2’ is not replacing the romantic saga. The upcoming show will air at 9pm slot, which is currently occupied by ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke’. Yes, you read that right! It was coming together of a great team — be it the actors, crew or technicians. The team had great synergy. While the journey is coming to an end, we welcome the decision with a smile, as ‘YRHPK' has been all about optimism and positivity,” Shahi told Times Of India.

Interestingly, Rupal Patel, who plays the role of Meenakshi Rajvansh, will reprise her role of Kokilaben Modi in ‘Saathiya 2’. ‘Yeh Rishtey’, which stars Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma, is the spin-off of ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. The show earlier aired at 10pm; however, the channel shifted it to 9pm to make way for 'Anupamaa'. While Rupali Ganguly starrer 'Anupamaa' has done quite well in terms of TRPs, 'YRHPK' has seen a drop in numbers after the change in time slot. Watch this space for more updates!
