Netflix Unveils First Look Of Prince William And Harry From The Crown Season 6

The sixth season of 'The Crown' will continue to follow the progress of the Royal Family in a chronological manner.

New Delhi: Netflix dropped the first look at Prince William and Harry from 'The Crown' Season 6 on Monday. The final season of the show will be released in two parts, with Part 1 releasing on November 16 and Part 2 dropping on December 14.

The sixth season of 'The Crown' will continue to follow the progress of the Royal Family in a chronological manner. This season will focus on notable events that occurred in the late 1990s, beginning with Part 1, which will explore Princess Diana's romantic relationship with Dodi Fayed and their deaths.

Also, the sixth season will explore Prince William's and Prince Harry's childhoods, with each actor playing a younger version of the prince and an older version of the prince.

The Season 6 logline reads: “Prince William tries to integrate back into life at Eton in the wake of his mother’s death, as the monarchy has to ride the wave of public opinion. As she reaches her Golden Jubilee, the Queen reflects on the future of the monarchy with the marriage of Charles and Camilla and the beginnings of a new royal fairytale in William and Kate.”

Talking about the cast of the series, Rufus Kampa, Ed McVey, Fflyn Edwards, and Luther Ford will portray Prince William and Prince Harry, respectively, while Meg Bellamy will portray Kate Middleton, respectively. Elizabeth Debicki has also returned to portray Princess Diana, recognising the difficulty of relaying the events of the era. The ensemble includes Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, Dominic West as Prince Charles, Claudia Harrison as Princess Anne, Olivia Williams as Camilla Parker Bowles, Bertie Carvel as Tony Blair, Salim Daw as Mohamed Al Fayed, and Khalid Abdalla as Dodi Fayed.

Neflix Original Series 'The Crown' is created and written by Peter Morgan and produced by Morgan, Suzanne Mackie, and Andy Harries; co-directors are Stephen Daldry, Matthew Byam Shaw, and Robert Fox. Season 6 will consist of 10 episodes, with four one-hour parts for the first part and six for the second part.
