Neil Bhatt Aka Virat Pens Heartfelt Post As 'Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyar Meiin' Tops TRP Charts

Ghum Hain Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has dethroned Anupamaa from the number one position.

Mumbai: The cast and crew of ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ are on cloud nine as the show has topped the TRP charts. The popular daily soap has managed to dethrone ‘Anupamaa’, which has been dominating the ratings since several months. Neil Bhatt, who plays the role of Virat in ‘GHKKPH, took to social media to share a heartfelt post. 

The 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' star thanked the fans for their love and support. He expressed his happiness on Instagram after his show became the number one show across all GECs.

"Out and out a team effort !! You made us reach the top, the much coveted number one spot. God has been kind. Warms my heart to know that there are so many people out there appreciating our work. it humbles us and makes us more responsible. One can reach the top but to stay there is the challenge. We’re up for it if you have our backs. A heartfelt thank you to all the people out there supporting us and our work," Bhatt wrote.

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein’, which airs on Star Plus, the Hindi remake of Bengali show ‘Kusum Dola’. The show replaced Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan starrer ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ in October 2020. 

'Ghum Hain Kisikey Pyaar Mein' also stars Aishwarya Sharma and Ayesha Singh in the respective roles of Pakhi and Sai.

The makers of the show shifted base to Goa to continue the shoot for fresh episodes after the Maharashtra government imposed strict restrictions and banned shooting for films, TV shows and web series. The production house has relocated to another location after Goa government also announced a lockdown to combat the further spread of COVID-19. 

TOP five shows of week 18 

While ‘Ghum Hai’ has claimed the number one spot, ‘Anupamaa’ has slipped to the number second position. ‘Imlie’ has fetched impressive ratings in the current week, taking the number three spot. Sony SAB’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ has bagged the number fourth position while ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2’ has secured the fifth spot.

Both 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' and 'Super Dancer 4' didn't feature in the list of top-rated shows in week 18.
