Naagin 4: NOT Rashami Desai But THIS Bigg Boss 13 Contestant Was The FIRST Choice To Play Shalaka?
Gossip mills are buzzing with the rumours that Rashami Desai was not the first choice for the role of Shalaka in Naagin 4.
New Delhi: Colors TV’s ‘Naagin: Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel’ has managed to win the hearts of the viewers with its blockbuster episodes. Although, the supernatural show has not been able to fetch huge numbers like ‘Naagin 3’, it has grabbed a lot of eyeballs. ‘Naagin 4’ stars Nia Sharma and Vijayendra Kumeria in the respective roles of Brinda and Dev. The revenge saga recently witnessed the entry of ‘Bigg Boss 13’ contestant Rashami Desai.
Rashami, who received praises from the fans for her stint in Salman Khan’s ‘BB 13’, entered ‘Naagin 4’ last week. She is playing the role of Shalaka in the fourth installment of ‘Naagin’ series.
Shalaka’s entry has created a lot of buzz on social media. Interestingly, a report in an entertainment portal has suggested Rashami Desai was not the first choice to play the role of Shalaka.
Mahira Sharma was the first choice for ‘Naagin 4’ and she was approached by the makers. However, the ‘Naagin 3’ actress refused the offer, the report said.
"Mahira who was also part of Naagin 3 was offered to do a comeback in this season with this new character. However, she said no to it as the actress is in no mood to take up any daily soaps and want to focus more on music videos and films. Post which, the offer went to Rashami Desai and she said yes for it," a source told SpotboyE.
Rashami Desai, who shot to fame after playing the role of Tapasya in 'Uttaran', is getting a lot of love for her performance in 'Naagin 4'. We wonder if there is any truth to the rumours as several reports suggested that Rashami was the original choice for Shalaka.
