Munawar Faruqui Gets Angry After People Throw Eggs At Him In Mohammed Ali Road, Video Goes Viral
'Bigg Boss 17' winner Munawar Faruqui got into a heated argument after a restaurant owner allegedly threw eggs at him.
New Delhi: Munawar Faruqui, who won the title of 'Bigg Boss 17' winner, got into a heated argument caught on camera after a restaurant owner allegedly threw eggs at him. The incident reportedly happened around midnight on Tuesday on Mumbai's Mohammed Ali Road.

According to reports, the owner of the restaurant and five staff members have been charged for causing a disturbance and allegedly throwing eggs at the stand up comedian. As per Times of India report, Munawar got an invitation to visit the restaurant the Minara Masjid area for Iftaar, but he decided to eat at another neighbouring restaurant. The restaurant employees allegedly threw eggs at him in response.
A video of the reality tv star confronting the restaurant owner has been circulating on social media. Munawar can be seen getting upset and his security trying to comfort him.

Munawar Faruqui hookah parlour case
Recently, during a raid, Munawar was found smoking hookahs in Mumbai. He was detained initially but was released by the Mumbai police a few hours later.
“During the raid, the police found stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui and others smoking hookahs at the joint. We also have a video of their act. We detained Faruqui and others, but they were later allowed to go as the sections slapped against them were bailable,” a senior police official told news agency PTI.
Munawar and others involved were charged under the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act, along with IPC sections 283 and 336. However, this isn't the first time Munawar has faced legal trouble. He was previously arrested in 2021 for allegedly hurting religious sentiments during a stand-up show. The stand up comedian spent 27 days in jail before being granted bail.
Munawar Faruqui beat Abhishek Kumar, Mannara Chopra, Ankita Lokhande and Arun Mashetty in 'Bigg Boss 17' to bag the trophy.
