WATCH: Rapper Drake Spots Drone Spying On Him. What He Does To Defend Himself Is HILARIOUS
In a clip that's been going viral on social media, Drake is found startled in his posh Sydney penthouse as he spotted a drone spying on his laptop.

Poor Drake! Seems like the 5-time Grammy-winning rapper just can't get a breather nowadays. Coming off battered from Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl diss earlier this month, the Canadian artist found himself under the spotlight yet again, this time around for a surprise drone attack!
What Went Down?
In a clip that's been going viral on social media, Drake is found startled in his posh Sydney penthouse as he spotted a drone spying on his laptop on the balcony. At first, the "Hotline Bling" artist was visibly puzzled. Then, realising what's going on, he immediately ducks inside and emerges with a slipper in his hand.
He tries to strike the drone down by flinging the slipper at it. However, he missed by a mile and all he could do was skip frantically as the drone immediately flew away from him.
There's no word yet on who was flying the drone. Even Drake hasn't shared an official statement on the incident. Given the rapper's penchant for promotional tactics (remember his fake Saturday Night Live Performance with 21 Savage back in 2022?), it is unclear whether the video is genuine at all.
The video has been shared by several users on X, Instagram, and other platforms. Check it out:

Another user even went on to share the video on Instagram with Lamar's diss track "Not Like Us" syncing perfectly to Drak's visible panic.

What Was Drake-Lamar's Feud All About?
Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s long-running feud, which first ignited in 2013, has seen numerous twists and turns over the years. The rivalry, which began when Lamar took aim at Drake in his verse on Big Sean’s track "Control," reached new heights in 2024 following Lamar’s fiery verse on "Like That" by Future and Metro Boomin.
The tension escalated further in May 2024 when Lamar dropped "Not Like Us," in which he levelled serious allegations against Drake, including accusations of paedophilia. In response, Drake released "The Heart Part 6" on May 5, refuting the claims and suggesting that Lamar had been misled by false information, particularly regarding an alleged second child. The dispute took a legal turn when Drake initiated legal action against Universal Music Group (UMG), the label shared by both artists. He first filed a petition and later sued UMG, alleging that the company had not only released "Not Like Us" but also engaged in unfair promotional tactics that he deemed defamatory.
By 2025, the effects of the battle between the two hip-hop giants were still reverberating through the industry. Drake addressed the feud in his track "Fighting Irish Freestyle," offering his perspective on the ongoing drama. Meanwhile, Lamar’s diss track "Not Like Us" proved to be a major success, earning him five Grammy Awards, including Song of the Year. The track’s impact was further cemented when Lamar performed it, along with "Euphoria," at the Super Bowl LIX halftime show.

The conflict between the two artists has not only captivated rap fans but has also raised significant discussions about the nature of lyrical battles, the responsibilities of record labels, and the influence of social media in shaping public perceptions of artists. As both continue their careers, the rivalry remains one of hip-hop’s most talked-about moments in recent history.
